Since it seems like last week’s Intel Gaudi 3, the New 128GB HBM2e AI Chip in the Wild piece, is getting a lot of interest today, we have a little short on the new STH Labs channel with some extra footage we took at the event.

As a quick note: I attended the Intel Vision 2024 as an “Influencer.” The press was not invited, but analysts were. The event is being held about 25 min from the STH studio in Scottsdale, so that is how I got a badge.

Here is the short. It is only 28 seconds long:

In the video, there are a few more views of both the Gaudi 3 OAM accelerator and the universal baseboard (UBB) assembly. OAM and UBB are technologies that we have been talking about for 5+ years at this point, so they are not new. At the same time, this may be the first time some folks are seeing the new modules.

Final Words

This is really the idea of the new shorts channel. We wanted to have an avenue to show content that was not 15-25 minutes long, as some things do not warrant that much time. By time, that means both the length of the video and the amount of time that it takes to produce videos. Last week’s MEGA 2.5GbE Switch Guide took something like 5000 hours of testing and 160-200 hours of time to produce. We are going to use shorts more this year to give more views than we can with just photos but also bring in new folks to the STH fold.

Since the Intel Gaudi 3 piece went live Friday, and is getting a lot of (or we should say crazy) traffic today, we decided to take some footage we had from Intel Vision 2024 and put it into a short.
