AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT Rendering Related Benchmarks
Next, we wanted to get a sense of the rendering performance of the Radeon RX 5700 XT GPU. We could not run these benchmarks to run on the card using GPU acceleration:
Arion v2.5 – Not able to run
MAXON Cinema4D 3D – Not able to run
OctaneRender 4 – Not able to run
As a quick note here, the Arion v2.5 and OctaneRender 4 benchmarks are CUDA focused, so we would expect AMD cards to not work. On the other hand, the MAXON Cinema4D benchmark ran without issue on our Vega cards, but not the Radeon RX 5700 XT.
Next, we will have 3DMark results before moving onto power consumption, thermals, and our final thoughts.
AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT 3DMark Suite Testing
Here we will run the Radeon RX 5700 XT GPU through graphics-related benchmarks. Here are the 3DMark suite results. We will discuss them after the charts.
Overall, we see the Radeon RX 5700 XT shows results close to the NVIDIA RTX 2060 line for standard tests. For Firestrike Ultra and Extreme, as examples, the RX 5700 XT is between the RTX 2070 Super and RTX 2080 Super.
We recently started to show the PCI Express feature test results and what bandwidth results we achieve.
AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT sees 12.9 GB/s here, the highest we have seen yet. Consider that the Radeon RX 5700 XT is a PCIe 4.0 GPU and our motherboard has PCIe 3.0 slots.

Overall we see expected performance from the Radeon RX 5700 XT again near NVIDIA RTX 2060 results.
