Sodola SL902-SWTG015AS Management
This is an unmanaged switch, so we do not get a management interface.
Sodola SL902-SWTG015AS Performance
For this switch, we ran it through our long-running iperf3 test setup:

This is expected performance and similar to other 5+1 switches we have tested.
We recently tested the UGREEN UM106X CM753 5-port 2.5GbE 1-port 10G Switch, which is extremely similar, using our higher-end CyPerf testing. If you want to get an idea of how the switch will perform under that load, this Sodola is almost identical except for test variations.
Sodola SL902-SWTG015AS Power Consumption and Noise
With the switch, we get a cheap 1A 12V power adapter.

At idle, we got 1.0W.

Connecting a 2.5GbE port, we went up to 2.0W for 1W of incremental power consumption.

Adding a SFP+ to 10Gbase-T adapter, we got to 2.3W for 1.3W incremental power consumption.

In terms of noise, since this is a fanless switch, it was silent.
Final Words
We have reviewed many of these 5+1 switches for ourĀ The Ultimate Cheap Fanless 2.5GbE Switch Buyers Guide and will add this to that guide. For what it is, the Sodola performed as we expected. Generally, we advise folks to get the 4+2 switches since, with the same switch chip, getting two SFP+ ports is often more useful than one SFP+ and one 2.5GbE port. Then again, a SFP+ port is less useful if you just need another 2.5GbE port.

Overall, this switch worked as expected. It is also very difficult in a $39 device to differentiate. Perhaps the lightweight aluminum chassis and the magnetic mounting is the way to do that in a crowded market.
