Lenovo ThinkPad P53 Mobile Workstation System Benchmarks
We have a number of system-level benchmarks that we run through. We wanted to give some sense of where the Lenovo ThinkPad P53
Passmark
Passmark is a common workstation benchmark suite. Here we are simply going to present the result:
SPECworkstation 3
SPECworkstation3 measures the 3D graphics performance of systems running under the OpenGL and Direct X application programming interfaces.
The ThinkPad P53 with its Quadro RTX 5000 is the highest performing mobile workstation we have tested with SPECworkstation.
SPECviewperf 13
SPECviewperf 13 measures the 3D graphics performance of systems running under the OpenGL and Direct X application programming interfaces.
Overall, the new Intel Xeon E-2276M CPU combined with the NVIDIA Quadro RTX 5000 performed very well here.
Next, we wanted to get a sense of the rendering performance of the Lenovo ThinkPad P53 mobile workstation.

Any information on cpu throttling? For instance, say I want to know if multi-core workloads will be any faster compared to a max spec 6 core Lenovo x1/p1 thin and light workstation.
The extra thickness of the p53 should help cooling and thus maintain higher clocks, but it is hard to find any actual tests of this. Could you add this? Perhaps time to do Linux compile for example on different laptops?
