EVGA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti XC Black 3DMark Suite Testing

Here we will run the EVGA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti XC Black through graphics-related benchmarks. We note that the EVGA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti XC Black does not include RT cores so we cannot benchmark Port Royal.

Here are the 3DMark suite results. We will discuss them after the charts.

Overall we see a good showing from the EVGA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti XC Black. In many cases, this card can outperform the AMD Radeon Vega Frontier Edition which is billed as a higher-end AMD part with HBM2. This is at least something to consider as NVIDIA has forged ahead with newer architectures.

Next, we are going to look at the EVGA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti XC Black power and temperature tests, and then give our final words.

  1. I think your Radeon Pro WX 8200 load power consumption might be wrong. Maybe you misplaced a 1 and it’s actually 194.6W?

  2. I am guessing that WX8200 is actually really low in power usage. On linux the driver that I used reported around 100W, max that I have seen was 120W, but in general it hovers around 90W for OpenCL tasks.
