Today, OpenAI announced another deal for more GW of AI compute. This time, it is with Broadcom and instead of being for a GPU, this is for a custom accelerator that OpenAI is designing. It also encompasses the network technology. One has to wonder if this is going to use Scale-up Ethernet as an example from the Broadcom stable.
Next we will see OpenAI buy nuclear reactors with all the power these deals will need.
