ASRock Rack 5U16X-GNR2/DLC RUBIN
ASRock Rack also showed the 5U16X-GNR2/DLC RUBIN, which keeps the HGX Rubin NVL8 platform and dual Xeon 6 CPUs in a taller chassis. The CPUs and GPUs are liquid-cooled, while the rest of the system uses traditional air cooling for a hybrid-cooled design.

Compared with the 2U model’s eight E1.S bays, this version has 10 E1.S NVMe bays behind a PCIe switch and four FHFL PCIe Gen6 x16 slots.
Around back, 12 power supplies sit beside the large liquid quick disconnects. This 5U server uses conventional power supplies rather than the 54V busbar of the 2U model. These are 8+4, 80-PLUS Titanium, 3200W power supplies.

Here is a quick look at the E1S storage backplane and the additional front NIC slots you can use for things like DPUs.

Overall, that is a very neat design if you want to have a bit less density.
ASRock Rack 6UXGM-GNR2 CX8/DLC Liquid-Cooled NVIDIA RTX PRO Server
The 6UXGM-GNR2 CX8/DLC is a 6U NVIDIA MGX server for up to eight liquid-cooled NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs. ASRock Rack’s hybrid layout has the top 2U air-cooled and the lower 4U liquid-cooled. These newer liquid-cooled cards are single-slot FHXL with integrated liquid cooling.

Each one has 96GB of GDDR7, and NVIDIA lists up to 600W configurable power. The system uses the NVIDIA MGX PCIe switch board with ConnectX-8 SuperNICs, which provides eight 400Gbps QSFP ports.

Here is a quick look at the internal GPU manifold. The insertion force on the nozzles is quite notable if you have ever tried installing a GPU in these systems.

The host side uses dual Xeon 6 CPUs with 16+16 DDR5 DIMM slots and 16 hot-swap E1.S bays. Power comes from 3+3 3200W 80 PLUS Titanium CRPS units.
ASRock Rack 4UXGM-GNR2 CX8
The air-cooled 4UXGM-GNR2 CX8 is a 4U NVIDIA MGX RTX PRO Server. It supports eight FHFL dual-slot PCIe Gen5 x16 GPUs and uses the same MGX switch board design with ConnectX-8 SuperNICs, providing eight 400Gbps QSFP ports. We reviewed the ASRock Rack 4UXGM-GNR2 CX8 earlier this year with eight RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs.

While it is probably worth going to the review, you can see the traditional air-cooled cards here.

This is the rear where you can see the 400G ports below the GPUs and the NVIDIA BlueField-3 DPU in the slot closest to the power supplies.

A big advantage here is that this design removes the PCIe switches and the need to add additional PCIe NICs, which helps the airflow of the chassis.
