MSI EdgeXpert NVIDIA GB10 System
We have reviewed most of the NVIDIA GB10 offerings on the market, but one of the two that we have not reviewed is the MSI EdgeXpert.

This uses the NVIDIA GB10 platform with a 20-core Arm CPU, NVIDIA Blackwell generation GPU, and 128GB of LPDDR5X memory.

MSI’s design appears to focus on providing a lot of airflow, which is a welcome design choice in GB10 platforms.

For high-speed networking, the NVIDIA ConnectX-7 provides 200GbE of connectivity. We detailed how The NVIDIA GB10 ConnectX-7 200GbE Networking is Really Different.

MSI has a standard set of Type-C inputs for power and data connectivity as well as an HDMI port and a 10Gbase-T port. Something that also seems nice with MSI’s design is that they are doing a good job of labeling ports. We wish all vendors were this clear on labeling.

Next, let us take a look at one of the big new additions to the show: a new PCIe GPU design for cable-less power and liquid-cooling delivery.

Sad to see six-figure priced, kilowatt powered, water cooled workstations delivered in cheap off-the-shelf mesh PC cases.
Ten years ago, workstations from the major vendors (Dell, HP, Lenovo) had flagship build quality; thick steel chassis with hot-swappable components, that could comfortably be used as a step stool.
Whereas this XpertStation mess doesn’t even seem to be cable managed.
Micro USB for the BMC? What year are we in?
Mini-DP is for the BMC output . . . skews the timeline forward a bit, but not by much.
Still, I’d rather have (m)DP vs HDMI *shrugs*
