MiTAC R1917GC NVIDIA Vera or Grace Server
This was another neat one we captured. The server model number is the MiTAC R1917GC. Currently it has the NVIDIA Grace CPU with 240GB LPDDR5X of memory. It is also listed as supporting future Vera CPUs with up to 1.5TB of LPDDR5X memory.

The front of the server is mostly dedicated to airflow.

The rear of the server, however, has some interesting bits.

There are two U.2 SSD slots. Normally, we would think that means there is limited capacity available for the server.

In the booth, Solidigm had its 122.88TB SSD. We reviewed theĀ Solidigm D5-P5336 122.88TB NVMe SSD some time ago. On a platform like this, you can get over 245 TB of storage even with just two slots.

In the center, there is the management I/O.

There is also an OCP NIC 3.0 slot.

On the other side, there are the redundant power supplies.

That was the second server we saw in the booth using next-generation CPUs.
Final Words
We thought this was interesting because there are two servers really focused on the future. New servers with GPUs, fast networking, big storage, and more are always interesting to see.

If you cannot tell, in 2026, we are going to have a new generation of CPUs across a number of different platforms. This year is going to get really exciting as the entire ecosystem goes through a refresh.
