ASUS Infrastructure Deployment Center

Next to this, ASUS was highlighting the ASUS Infrastructure Deployment Center which is designed to help customers automate the deployment of big AI clusters.

With large clusters spanning a huge number of not just systems, but also components, many organizations need solutions to help manage and automate the systems to keep them running.

While the AI Pod was the big focus in the booth, we also saw a number of systems.

ASUS Shows off the NVIDIA HGX B300 System and More at NVIDIA GTC 2025

One of the cool ones was the NVIDIA HGX B200 platform, the ASUS ESC-NB8-E11.

This is the Intel Xeon-based platform with the HGX 8-GPU configuration. We have seen the NVIDIA HGX H100/ H200 generations before, and this feels like a new line of Blackwell GPUs in a familiar chassis.

What was more different was the HGX B300 platform, the ASUS XA NB3I-E12, the NVIDIA HGX B300 NVL16 server.

We are going to go into the HGX B300 platform a bit more detail later, but one of the big changes is that each GPU has its own NIC directly on the platform that you can see at the bottom of the photo above. That changes the chassis configuration significantly which is why we see a very different front I/O patteron on the newer generation.

In addition, we saw some of the NVIDIA MGX PCIe GPU platforms at the show like the ASUS ESC8000A-E13P. The one at GTC 2025 has the NVLink bridges installed so there is a communication path between GPUs without going over PCIe.

If you want to learn more, we did an in-depth look of the ASUS ESC8000A-E13P a few weeks ago. PCIe GPUs are set to be a major focus area in 2025 as AI moves outside of just the largest scale data centers.

Final Words

It is always great to see the higher-end GPU systems at the show. This is a cool one that we got to see not just a new NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 rack in the ASUS AI Pod, but also some of the HGX platforms at the show.

Of course, the “big” (really small) AI system, the ASUS Ascent GX10 a NVIDIA GB10 Mini PC with 128GB of Memory and 200GbE we covered previously and that one is going to be an extremely popular model.
